Refund & Cancellation Policy

We want every client to be happy with our work. This policy explains when refunds are available and how cancellations are handled.

1. One-Time Setup Packages

  • Before work begins: If you cancel within 24 hours of payment and we have not started work, we'll process a full refund (minus payment gateway fees, typically 2–3%).
  • After work begins (initial draft delivered): The 50% advance is non-refundable, as work has already been done. You can choose to pause and use it as credit toward a future project within 6 months.
  • After project delivery: Once the website / setup is delivered and approved, the project is considered complete. No refund is applicable.

2. Monthly Maintenance Plans

  • You can cancel a monthly plan anytime with 7 days' written notice.
  • The current month is non-refundable, but no further charges will be made after cancellation.
  • Annual plans cancelled mid-year will be refunded for unused full months, minus a 10% admin fee.

3. Refund Method & Timeline

  • Refunds are processed to the original payment method.
  • Bank transfer / UPI refunds: 3–5 working days.
  • Card refunds via Razorpay: 5–10 working days, depending on your bank.
  • You'll receive an email confirmation when the refund is initiated.

4. Non-Refundable Items

The following are not refundable:

  • Domain registration fees and hosting charges paid to third-party providers.
  • Razorpay / payment gateway processing fees.
  • OpenAI API usage charges and other third-party tool subscriptions.
  • Stock photos, premium plugins, or licensed assets purchased for your project.

5. Issues & Disputes

If you're not satisfied with our work, please contact us first — we will do everything reasonable to fix the issue. Most concerns can be resolved by additional revisions or open conversation.

For unresolved disputes, write to us at hello@thinklocalsetup.com with the subject "Refund Request" and include your order details. We will respond within 48 hours.

6. Chargebacks

Please contact us before initiating any chargeback or dispute through your bank or card provider. Chargebacks issued without prior contact may result in suspension of services and additional legal recovery costs.
